The Third Place is 6 Months Old!

6 months ago today, I went for a roast, took a bunch of photos and wrote my first ever blog post for The Third Place. Since then, I’ve found a whole new community of Brighton friends; reviewed coffee shops and restaurants; shared some of my favourite recipes; tried some new products, and even had the absolute pleasure of being invited to my first blogger and food events!

The Third Place existed in my head for a long time before it was created; I knew what I had wanted to do for maybe a good year and never felt I had the courage to go ahead and begin. With the encouragement of my friends, one day I bit the bullet and posted my first review for all of my friends, family and peers to see. What really did I have to lose? And it has been the support from them ever since that keeps me going and made me feel a lot less embarrassed than I’d ever thought.

This post is really just to say a ginormous THANK YOU! Thank you to anyone who has ever read, liked, commented on or shared one of my posts; followed my social media or given me some feedback and advice – it means the world to me to know that there are people reading something that I have actually written! Plus, it means I have a great excuse to carry on taking pictures of my food! ❤️
