Burnt Orange: Brand new restaurant opens in Brighton!
Oh, hello! It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? Well, look, after the year and a bit we’ve all had, I’m here to share some bloody fantastic news and that is that there are new restaurants opening in Brighton once again! If you hadn’t heard on the grapevine or seen on social channels, Burnt Orange is a hotly anticipated new addition to Brighton’s Lanes, brought to you by the very people behind The Coal Shed and The Salt Room.
Mediterranean all-day dining
Hopes are already high for the food and drink offering at Burnt Orange, but what makes this new destination so different? Well, the clue is in the word destination, as the concept focuses on the laissez-faire style of Mediterranean style dining, with easygoing small plates, well-curated music and an excellent drinks menu supporting allll day.
On the weekends, it’ll take you from grown-up brunch to the signature wood-fired dishes. Oh, and did I mention the music programme has been curated by Fatboy Slim?
When can I go?
Burnt Orange will take up residency in the lovely old 16th century former coach house on Middle Street (previously known for the Coach House restaurant), complete with a 28-cover terrace.
Opening for its soft launch service all this week, the restaurant will be officially open from Monday 21st June! I’m very excited to be headed there TODAY, so will, of course, be sharing snippets over on my IG.
