The Sussex Gin & Fizz Festival is coming

Yes, you heard right – the first ever Sussex Gin and Fizz Festival is coming to Lewes! This Saturday, 30th September, an entire festival for local gin and sparkling wine is being held at Southover Grange Gardens – which gives me the perfect opportunity to kick off a short series on Sussex produce.

Having recently had the pleasure of visiting Isaac At, embarking on a day trip with Great British Wine Tours and stopping by a local food and wine festival in Bolney (keep your eyes peeled for reviews coming soon), it’s safe to say I’m currently in love with all things Sussex produced and super psyched for another taste.

What can we expect?

Both English wines and gin are having a bit of a moment right now. With the likes of Bluebell Vineyard, the Bolney Estate, Slake Spirits and Brighton Gin exhibiting, it’s a great time to discover both and meet some local producers.

Alongside this, you can expect industry talks, local street food and live music on the day, all within the beautiful walled Southover Grange Gardens.
