The Ivy in the Lanes | Opening date announced

The Ivy in the Lanes has announced that the brasserie will open its doors on Wednesday 2 May 2018, with reservation lines open from today.

The Ivy in the Lanes will bring all-day dining, seven days a week, from dawn until dusk. With every location in The Ivy Collection carefully handpicked to value, reflect and add to the local area, the Brighton brasserie is housed within the recently renovated post office building on Ship Street. Informal yet sophisticated, the interior will feature Brighton-inspired artwork depicting the pier, sea life and Brighton beach, all set against a backdrop of leather banquettes, a striking onyx bar and pendant lighting.

The Ivy Collection’s latest eatery will hold back a proportion of tables for visitors to drop in throughout the day without booking, and accommodate a total of around 240 covers. Diners can expect breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and weekend brunch menus, as well as light snacks and an exciting list of cocktails.

Watch this space

It will certainly be interesting to see what Brighton residents and visitors make of The Ivy coming to town. In a city rich with solid dining, cocktail and coffee options, well-loved independents and your slightly more… unusual establishments, the bar is set high.

I’ll be heading over soon for some launch events and will be sure to keep you posted of the verdict. But for now, I just want to get my hands on one of their salted caramel espresso martinis! 😍
