Edendum | A Tasting Evening

Edendum | A Tasting Evening

You might remember my review of Edendum, a charming (and authentic) Italian in the heart of the Lanes. After a great first visit, I was super excited to be invited back for an evening of tasting.

Pizza, prosecco and… more prosecco

With Brandon in tow, I arrived to the familiar, warm atmosphere and found the prosecco already flowing. We bumped straight into our friends over at Jess & Josh Cook and Foodie Eshé, and spent a while catching up whilst eagerly awaiting the food.

Tasters appeared in rounds, including deep fried gnocchi, prawns, burrata, pasta, pizza and varieties of bruschetta. I managed to get my hands on both gnocchi flavours floating around, which were absolutely delicious, plus a few different pizza slices and bruschetta bites. The pizza was just as I remembered, with soft, pillowy dough and flavoursome toppings. Bruschetta came with three options: spinach and ricotta, beetroot and goats cheese, and gorgonzola spread. I loved them all, but definitely have more of a soft spot for spinach and ricotta.

Whilst in tasting sized portions, everything was presented so colourfully and looked incredibly tempting. The only negative was that on some rounds we didn’t all get to try what we liked, but between us we had a bit of everything. Brandon said both the seafood pasta and prawns were great, with the prawns being a close favourite that evening.

Here’s to the future

It was a lovely evening, with a great chance to catch up over some vibrant food and some of the most easygoing prosecco I’ve ever had! After chatting with Diego, one of the founders of Edendum, it was clear that he’s really excited to show people what’s new.

I’ve checked out Edendum’s latest menu online (which you can have a look at here), and I’m already torn between a few different dishes for my next visit!

Have you checked them out yet?
